TNI Task Force's Outing Class Welcomed With Enthusism By Alguru Children

NDUGA - The Task Forces of the Para Raider Infantry Battalion 503/Mayangkara Kostrad, one of the military units under the command of the Indonesian Armed Forces Operational Command (KOOPS TNI) in Papua, is currently conducting the mobile security at the border of Indonesia and Papua New Guinea, especially in Nduga Regency area, Papua Pegunungan Province. On Sunday afternoon, 28 July 2024, after the Sunday Service, the Regional Security Team (Pamwil) of the 503 Task Forces led by Second Lieutenant Yudi Riandoko, conducted an Outing Class with the children of Alguru Village, Krepkuri District, Nduga Regency.

The Commander of 503 Task Forces, Lieutenant Colonel Gurbasa Samosir, has emphasized to his Soldiers that regional security activities, helping people in need and inclusive communication with all parties in the task area must be done during the Mobile Security Operation. Based on the emphasis, 2LT Yudi led his Team to conduct an Outing Class, after a week earlier communicating and coordinating with the teachers of the St. Aloysius Elementary School (SD) in Mumugu. On this Outing Class occasion, the children from Alguru Village attended the school to learn the Marching Lesson (PBB) material from the 503 Task Forces. Also present at the occasion was one of the teachers from St. Aloysius Elementary School, Mrs. Margie Sondakh. Before the activity began, 2LT Yudi expressed his gratitude for the enthusiasm of the teacher and all the Alguru children who had attended the schoolyard. With great enthusiasm and joy, the Outing Class participants listened, paid attention, followed, and imitated every direction and PBB movement exemplified by the Soldiers. After the activity was done, one of the children, Mikel Wakerkwa, said, "Thank you, Bapak TNI (Soldier), we learned to salute and line up. We are very happy. Long live TNI".

"The initiative of the 503 Task Forces to conduct an Outing Class at the St. Aloysius Elementary School in Mumugu is the TNI’s implementation in conducting inclusive Social Communication with all stakeholders in the Task Area, to support the acceleration of development in the Papua region, " said the KOOPS TNI Commanding General, Brigadier General Lucky Avianto, upon received the report.
